Dale is an undergraduate senior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying Sociology and Civil Engineering with concentrations in transportation and societal risk management. He has interests in interdisciplinary research in emerging transportation technologies as well as equity in public transportation. He is interested in the impact of human factors on public transportation and the impacts that social causes have on access and mobility. He hopes to research how human factors can impact public transportation systems to help improve the success and sustainability of future transportation systems. Dale is also a part of UIUC Engineering Ambassadors, where he works to help spread his passion for engineering and encourage younger students to consider a career in engineering.

 

Outside of the classroom, Dale enjoys playing and refereeing soccer as well as cycling and playing the clarinet and piano.
